• Moms of boys--don't forget to turn in your Mother/Son Date Night Survey ASAP!
• Kindergarten-5th grade--Field Trip T-shirt forms are due March 16.
• Penny Wars will run March 12-March 23. Grades are competing against each other!
• The spring book fair is March 14-16, and the evening of March 15.
• Art Appreciation Night is Thursday, March 15 from 6-8pm.
• Crafty Shack sign-ups are due March 21.

Common Sense Media

 Each year students in second through sixth grade are taught digital citizenship and cyber safety lessons during library class. We use resources from Common Sense Media--Common Sense Media is a great resource for educators and is also great for parents and guardians.  They offer reviews of music, video games, books, movies, TV shows, etc. to help you choose media that is appropriate for your child.  It also offers articles and tips on how to protect you and your child while surfing the Internet.

Let’s Celebrate Reading!

 Read Across America  

Friday, March 2nd

To celebrate reading, students are encouraged
to dress like a character from a favorite
book on March 2nd.

A suggested donation of $1 is requested.  

This donation is optional, and ALL money
raised will be donated to the
Plum Borough Community Library.  

PTA Meeting Rescheduled!

This month's PTA meeting will now be held on Tuesday, February 13 at 2:15pm in the school library. Hope to see you there!

Winter Weather Event Update!

Due to the school cancellation today, tonight's PTA meeting is cancelled. Pierogi fundraiser orders are now due by 10am Thursday, February 8.

Fundraiser and Event Reminders!

• Reading for Education Booklets due Thursday, February 1. Please fill out the postcards and leave them attached in the booklet!
• Daddy/Daughter Dance forms due Friday, February 2. Cost is $5/family for PTA members, $10/family for non-members, check or money order payable to Center PTA.
• Pierogi orders are due February 7, check or money order payable to Center PTA.
